I Love Crochet!
I have been crocheting since I was about 14 and still do it. I keep my odd pieces of wool to make into blankets too. Some I keep, some I give as gifts, some I send to the needy through charities and others I take to the local Dog Pound for the doggies in winter.
SOME OF MY CROCHET BLANKETS

TRADITIONAL VICTORIAN GRANNY SQUARE BLANKET WITH LIMITED COLOURS
I have done many multi coloured ones with the traditional main colour of black to join the squares so many times and they are a great way of using up small pieces of leftover wool.

BABY’S COT AND BUGGY BLANKETS

I’M WORKING ON A MULTI COLOURED ONE RIGHT NOW AND LOVING IT. IT IS SUCH FUN!

This is an excellent way of using up lots of small leftover bits of wool and of being creative. Children’s cot blankets in vivid colours are simply perfect. As a fun thing, you could even crochet a pocket onto one of the larger squares to pop a tiny crocheted or knitted teddy into to keep the child company at night.
There are many good Crochet tutorials on Youtube which you could watch if you don’t know how to crochet. That is an easy way to learn and cheaper than classes, which are not always available. You can stop the film clips at points to see what they are doing and follow their step by step instructions. Replay until you get the hang of it. I think they are great!
Crochet circles are also a nice thing to set up in your home or at a church or community centre. It is a way of meeting people, having a chat, a social life and doing something together. If you are a novice there are also more advanced crocheters who will be willing to help you with more complicated stitches or patterns. Why not have a go?

I used to crochet, but I haven’t thought about it in so long, I think I’ve forgotten how.
I love it, i also love crochet a lot and made my own bags .
But your works are really amazing
not often you see work like this these days. It used to be so popular to crochet. Now, I rarely see a crochet hook in anyone’s hand. Good for you, Rosetta.
